As Senior Pastor for 16 years, Ron led First Assembly of God, Winston-Salem, NC, from a congregation of 350 to over 3,000 attendees. Ron is the former president of the Center for Church Leadership, and is the founding director of the Church Transformation Network, now the Healthy Church Network. He has served as a denominational executive and a member of several college and seminary boards.
Ron is a consultant who has worked with churches across the country to help them move to the next level. He has also served as transitional pastor in nine churches over the past several years.
Ron received his B.A. degree from Southeastern University, Lakeland, Florida, an M.A. degree from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, Springfield, Missouri, and a D. Min. degree from Erskine Seminary, Due West, South Carolina.
